Carle Health and the University of Illinois coming together to advance imaging
Two successful research entities, the Stephens Family Clinical Research Institute at Carle Health and the Beckman Institute at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, joined together to create the Carle Illinois Advanced Imaging Center.
Imaging leaders from both institutions are working together to forge new research discoveries using a Siemens MAGNETOM Terra 7 Tesla MRI scanner.
It's the only such scanner in the state of Illinois, and was one of the first 7T scanners nationwide to be used for clinical imaging of patients.
